The origin of Marathon

490 BC, the Greek and the Persian have carried on an war on the coast of marathon,The Athenian won the war,in order to bring this good news to people in hometown as soon as posiible,the soldier named Pelipides,who was known as a scud,ran as fast as he can,And he fell dead on the groud once reached and called out: victory !

In order to commemorate this event,marathon race was established on the first modern Olympic game which held in 1896,they tookthe distance of 42.193 km which is distance of phidippitz's messenger.

Now we call it 42km Full Marathon or 26.2Mile Marathon.
